Inspired by scherzo playfulness, 'Ruffled Collar' utilizes the full range of the double bass to achieve its light, snarky toned conversations. With the darker tone of the viola often paired polyphonically with the brighter violin, along with a thick double stop filled B section, a darker soundscape backdrops the fun attitude to add an air of mystery.
